Slant or slightly bend the nails to secure them in place.
Center the door and frame in the rough opening as a test fit.
Use a measuring tape to measure the length of the hinges and cut out the appropriate shape from the door jambs.
Install the jambs after making sure the door framing is plumb and level place the side jamb vertically on one side of the doorway resting on the floor use a nail gun with 2 finish nails to nail it to the framing making sure it s plumb and flush to the wallsnail the other side jamb as well.
If necessary shim under the lower side jamb until the door is plumb.
After that nail the extended door jamb to the frame.
Always start with the side where the door will attach to the hinges.
Apply glue on the door jambs paste the door jambs in place and let it dry.
Check headroom and rear clearance of the door so as to have enough room for the door to work properly.
Nail in the header jamb piece into place.
Set the bottom piece into position insert the bottom piece into the door frame and use a level to properly set the piece.
Once the piece is in place tap nails partway into each jamb.
Refer to the instructions for sectional doors to frame the sides and head of jambs at the inside of a garage.
Adjust as necessary to keep the door jambs square with each other.
Ensure the jambs are a good fit.
Make sure to fasten the hinge side jambs directly to the stud.
Sometimes the hinges of the door will get in the way.
